It is so great when Kayla and Mylee try to help me most of the time. Wednesday night I gave the girls some ice cream before they got ready for bed. After a few bites they decided that they wanted to save the rest for tomorrow. I asked them to put it on the counter and then come upstairs. I headed up to get their pj's out and their tooth brushes ready. When they got upstairs Mylee had ice cream in her hair, down her arms, and all over her shirt. The told me they just spilled a little bit on her when they were putting their bowls away. So I continued with getting them ready for bed and just wiped Mylee down. After about 30 minutes when I went back into the kitchen this it what I found. They had spilled it everywhere, including on all the pictures on the fridge. I love it when they try, but I swear most times it makes everything so much harder. I just have to remind myself they are learning something from this.

Oh dear! Did they leave the freezer open too? Sorry about the mess...reminds me of life at my house!! :o)
Wow, this sounds so familiar! I love it when Tate helps, but it's so much easier to do it myself sometimes! I guess while they learn about helping we get to learn about patience!
O man...that's sad. Aliyah tries to help and it just takes so much longer when she does...and just like you have expressed...it's a lot messier too.
