Birthday Planning

So I was planning on writing a cute blog about Kayla after her birthday, but the planning part has cracked me up. I have been talking to her everyday about what she would like. She planned out everything she would like to eat. For breakfast it's cinnamon rolls, lunch is turkey sandwich with not tomatoes, and dinner Lobster, fresh pineapple, and rootbeer. What kid wants to eat that? Mine. When my family was here a little while ago, Kayla sat down in a restaurant, elbowed my sister, Missy, and said order me a lobster okay? It is so funny to go to the store with her I let her pick out a treat every once in a while and it is always something weird like plums, pears, lobster, crab, or a weird piece of fruit. The other day she asked me to buy her a Kiwano Horned Melon (?). Out of everything in the store this is what she choose.

Amanda,
I didn't know a "kiwano horned melon" even exsisted. When I opened up your blog I thought the picture was a blowfish. Haha, that just goes to show your 4 year old is quite a lot smarter than I am. Happy Birthday Kayla!

I remember seeing that in your fruit bowl wondering what the heck that thing even was. Kayla cracks me up-she's a cuttie!

Amanda,
You are such a great mom!! Not only to let her pick the whole day, but to introduce her to such "growup" food. Way to go!! I am with Sara though on the whole "Horned Melon" I thought it was going to be a picture that Christian saw at school or something gross! Happy Birthday Kayla!!

Oh my heck I have never even heard of that fruit before. Im with everyone else I thought it was some sort of a fish or something. That is so good that she eats that healthy though.
